Specifics of pitching in zoom
What carries over from the real world
- Should you still gesture
- Does it make sense to stand for the pitches
- Keeping camera eye level
- Make sure to set the settings on zoom or whatever platform you are using to high quality if your internet can handle it
Showing of presentation
- You will be shown as an image on the side so make sure you are clear on the camera
- Using software like OBS to make your video include your presentation
- Changes to presentation for the zoom world
Delivery charges
- Like you are talking to just one person
- No longer do you have to move the view around the room
- Think of the camera as someone else’s eyes and keep and break eye contact as such
- Practicing on an individual is extra useful here
